Changing Number and Date Fields

You can easily Increment or Decrement almost any date or number field in VMS.  After you've entered a date (or number) use the "+" key (without holding the shift key on a laptop keyboard) to increment the date (number) up (add one), or the "-" key to decrement (subtract). 

However changing dates might necessitate a broader range so you may invoke the calendar to choose a new date instead.

Of course you may manually type the dates, but it's always tedious.
