VMS Vista Update (Posted 4.1.2010)

VMS Single Vessel Edition (SVE) and Professional for Windows Vista and Windows 7 are the only current version. (These Vista/7 versions also run on 2000, XP, Windows Server Editions)
  • Do not, under any circumstances, install the older, boxed version on Vista or Windows 7!

  • The older versions of VMS (Pro and/or SVE) are not compiable with the newer (Vista/7) versions. If you are transporting files via sneakernet or networking from two operating systems the Vista/7 version must be installed on both computers.
  • The Vista/7 versions of VMS (Pro and SVE) will be supported and upgraded, but older versions (not appropriate for Vista/7) are no longer supported.
