VMS Vista Update (Posted 2.9.2009)

Beta versions of VMS Single Vessel Edition (SVE) and Professional for Windows Vista are available. (Also runs on 2000, XP, Windows Server Editions) To obtain this version you must:
  • Purchase VMS on-line to obtain the most current versions or...
  • Send your Internet Registration Key (obtained from a prior purchase) and Name to registration@thegeneralistweb.com. Upon receipt of your request a link will be returned via email to obtain the download.
  • For prior users this upgrade of VMS for Vista is provided provided free of charge.
  • Do not, under any circumstances, install the older, boxed version on Vista!

  • The older versions of VMS (Pro and/or SVE) are not compiable. If you are transporting files via sneakernet or networking from two operating systems only the Vista version can be installed on both computers.

  • The Vista versions of VMS (Pro and SVE) will be supported and upgraded, but older versions (not appropriate for Vista) will not be supported in the upgrade process. If you are a current owner of an older version you will be provided upgrades for all your installations free of charge. If you are using an older version on a non-Vista operating system and continue to find it satisfactory, there is no need to upgrade. Of course, if any errors are found in the older editions they will be corrected asap.
